Anyone who doesn’t know what I do would find it really strange, if not a little concerning, that I read an awful lot about feet. I suppose it is as a consequence of being a reflexologist who does a lot of research, that I now get many, many articles directed to me one way or another about all things foot related. Sometimes I share them on my own Facebook page if they seem to be of wider interest, but sometimes I just end up storing them for ‘future release’. I have built up quite a collection and now have a whole bunch of interesting, useful or just plain odd items that have caught my attention. I thought it might be a fun to gather them together every once in a while and share them here, and to try to do that when they are topical and relevant. So here goes:

As nail salons reopen , here and here are summer 2020’s nail color trends. A gentle reminder – no polish is best for good nail health, the toes especially benefit from sun exposure which can help prevent fungus from developing.

Reflexologists are debating these comments (scroll down for the English version) from respected practitioner and teacher, Tony Porter. I disagree.

An Australian reflexologist has been treating a koala with a broken limb. It is winter in Australia now and slippers are having a moment – possibly due to the need for comfort during these strange times. Perhaps we will see the same phenomenon here in a few months time?

There’s an organization fighting for the right to go barefoot, but if you want to participate in the drive barefoot challenge, you will have to wait until next year – we just missed it!
