Reflexology of Feet

Foot reflexology is the most widely known and practiced form of reflexology.  Reflex points, mainly on the soles of the feet, represent the whole body – the left foot reflecting the left side and vice versa. Using thumb and finger pressure to work the reflexes, the practitioner can gently help to nudge the body towards a relaxed and balanced state leading to a profound sense of well-being.  Many people seem to have an instinctive response to the feet being touched as a means to soothing the body. Although not intended as a foot treatment, tired feet usually feel better after a session as the tissues receiving the direct work reap the benefits.  Foot reflexology sessions can be combined with hand and /or ear reflexology.
