It takes a world crisis…

So now I know what it actually takes to get me to turn my good intention into action – a pandemic! After a very lengthy gap, filled with good intentions but no action, I am finally getting back to my blog. No promises about whether or not I will make good on previous (failed!) attempts to update regularly, but that is certainly the plan. Like so many people, I have found myself knocked sideways by the sudden turn of world events, and have spent the last couple of weeks feeling disoriented and strangely unanchored. Losing my ability to work has been a huge blow, not only financially, although that is obviously a concern, but above all the loss of connection to so many special people who have been an important part of my life for so many years – my clients. The relationship built between practitioner and client is intimate and personal, and is something that I cherish and am deeply grateful for. I mourn this current loss and I miss seeing you all so much. This practice has brought so many lovely people into my life and the work is truly an exchange that brings me so many benefits. I miss the healing touch we share, but until we can reconnect through the wonderful practice of reflexology, I will endeavour to remain in contact through this little blog, pressing keys on the keyboard rather than points on your feet! Unfortunately, I can’t figure out a way to offer reflexology to you virtually, so instead will share my thoughts on things that are helping me to get through this strange time. No politics, no rants, no scary statistics or warnings about how to behave, but tips and hints, a little humour perhaps and plenty of practical information. It will be a complete mixed bag, hopefully reminiscent of some of the chats we often share when we meet together in person – and I can’t wait until we can do that again.

She’s back!!! And I’m loving it! Not even a pandemic can keep you from us. We all miss you more than words can say. I long for that first session back in the chair and our time together catching up on the small things in life. I always cherished that time together and look forward to it again in the near future. ❤️
